Why did my system stop chiming?
My system no longer beeps when doors/windows are open
Your security system includes a chime feature that you can activate or deactivate at your convenience. This feature is what allows your system to make a sound or depending on the system, talk when windows and doors are open. This feature is sometimes disabled after the system has lost and regained power and may need to be turned on again. In other instances this feature my have been accidentally been disabled at the keypad by pressing the wrong command. If you've confirmed the chime is on but you notice that some doors/windows are chiming and others aren't, this may be a sign of a sensor issue and a technician may be needed. Please consult your User Manual for specific troubleshooting steps or contact our Customer Service Center.
